We had the pleasure of working alongside AeroMed Technologies LLC (AMT) with a mutual client -an aerospace component supplier. AMT was initially contracted to revamp our Client’s Strategic Business Plan to re-ignite their stagnant top line. The business was 90/10 – military to commercial business composition, entering a period of draconic defense cuts.
AMT was able to guide in the capture of significant new commercial aero business, adding greater balance to the company’s business portfolio. The wheels soon began falling off the cart, as they were unable to handle the new growth from a manufacturing and quality control standpoint. (Akin to Lucille Ball in the chocolate factory) AeroMed Technologies was able to step in to educate the Client on LEAN Mfg techniques, primarily aiding in enhanced Flow of manufacturing processes, KPI implementation, and aid in tightening a loosening Quality Control. Firmly coaching in that ATPs are not optional, nor can there be shortcuts to improve OTD.
It was truly impressive to observe AMT’s ability to implement a Full Spectrum, Cross Functional Business Development plan. They were able to elevate our mutual customer to a well balanced next growth stage. It is not a stretch to state that AeroMed Technologies LLC saved this company. They are a master of their craft.
