Apollo Generation

Jay R. Lawson is a proud member of the Apollo Generation

As a young child visiting family in Florida, he witnessed a launch of a Saturn V rocket at night. The night sky turned to day and the ground shook violently. He has been captivated by flight since.

He studied Mechanical Engineering with a bias towards Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, and Material Science. An employer paid MBA. Not to let schooling interfere with his education further, he worked with component manufacturers for predominantly the aerospace industry, with an extensive sabbatical in the medical system arena.

Three decades of developing global relationships with Aero Primes, Aero Tier One Integrators, and Major Medical System OEMs.  He brings a solid comprehension of fluid control and electro-fluidics of Red/Purple Oil to Fuels to Blood Flow.

Lawson led the growth of multiple component suppliers in Aerospace and Medical Systems to the next level of ascent – working on essentially every major military and commercial aircraft program since 1990, as well as GT engine programs, Missiles, Large Frame Power Generation, and Oil Tool applications.

Engine Research in Active Combustion Control, as well as Hypersonics (including X-43A , X-51, and RATTLRS programs)

On the Medical System side, he has worked with several break through technologies in Invitro Diagnostics, Patient Monitoring, Therapeutics, Wound Therapy, Glucose Monitoring, Surgical Instrumentation, etc

Personally, he has the distinction of piloting planes in the AM and jumping from them in the PM, becoming an accomplished glider pilot along the way.  Insurance company suggested that he keep  his feet on the ground, so he took up long distance 100+ mile  history hikes instead.
